FIREFIGHTERS have rescued two people who were left trapped in their car after a road traffic accident.
Crews from Colchester and Wivenhoe attended the scene in Station Road, Wivenhoe at 6.10pm this evening.
The first casualty was removed by 6.40pm but crews had to remove the roof of the vehicle to free the second person who remained trapped inside.
Both casualties were left in the care of the ambulance service.
