A pedestrian who was involved in a collision with a car in Colchester has died, police have confirmed.
The incident, which happened at 8am yesterday in Cowdray Avenue, involved a silver Vauxhall Astra and the pedestrian, a 49-year-old woman.
She was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital after the incident but died of her injuries today.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact the serious collision unit at Essex Police on 101 or send an email to collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
