A WOMAN has been assaulted in a Suffolk town.
The attack happened in the Church View area of Leiston between 9.40pm and 10.10pm on Friday, October 17.
The 44-year-old woman had been out for the evening in Waterloo Road and was walking home when she saw a man on a pedal cycle. She continued walking into The Gables and was walking towards a grassy area in Church View when the man on the bike reappeared. She said he then approached and pushed her to the ground, grabbing at her. She kicked out at him and the man left. Police need to trace the man and are asking him or anyone with information about who he is to come forward.
Detectives would also like to speak to anyone who was in the area between these times regardless of whether they think they saw anything of relevance. If you can help contact DC Nunn on 01473 613500.
