A WOMAN has died in an accident involving a quad bike, police said today.

A WOMAN has died in an accident involving a quad bike, police said today.
Emergency services were called after the 4x4 off-road vehicle was spotted in a ditch at the bottom of an embankment at New Hall, Copt Hall Lane, Little Wigborough at around 7pm yesterday.
The 38-year-old woman's body was found with the machine and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The matter has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.
It is understood that the woman came from the Coggeshall area.
