A 28-YEAR-OLD woman who disappeared in a rowing boat following an alcohol-fuelled argument with her husband has been safely found on the Marina in Lowestoft tonight.
An operation involving the South Brooks RNLI lifeboat and the Lowestoft Coastguard team began after friends of the woman became concerned after she took to the water in the dark.
The incident happened from just after 9pm tonight when coastguards were contacted by concerned friends about the woman who had disappeared in a rowing boat on the Lake Lothing after drinking.
They were told she had got in the small boat after an argument with her husband.
She was found safe but cold at 9.45pm by the rescue crews, who called an ambulance for paramedics to check her over.
A spokesman for Yarmouth Coastguard said she was found to be suffering from the cold, but had incurred no other injuries.
