A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured in a collision which caused chaos on the A12.
Emergency services were called to the A12 at Great Bealings at just before 5pm today after a female was injured in a collision.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “The patient, of unknown age, was lying in the middle of the road, about a mile away from a roundabout.”
She later said that the motorcylist had been take to Ipswich Hospital. A police spokesman later said that the injured woman had later been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The extent of her injuries are unknown, however a spokesman for the ambulance service later added that the accident had been deemed as “serious”.
