A woman in Essex has had to be released from a car after it ended up on its side.

The incident took place on Pork Lane in Great Holland, near Clacton-on-Sea at around 6.05pm this evening.

Essex Fire and Rescue sent two engines from nearby Frinton to attend the woman who had become trapped in the uprturned car.

Fire crews worked with paramedics to release her from the car.

They were able to leave her in the care of paramedics by 6.55pm.
