A WOMAN had to be cut free from a ladder by firefighters after falling from a loft, it emerged tonight.
The incident happened shortly before 2.30pm today in a property in Peddars Way, Lowestoft.
Firefighters were alerted by the East of England Ambulance Service to a woman aged in her 30s who needed to be cut free from a ladder.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the woman had suffered back injuries after falling from a loft and her legs had become trapped in the loft ladder.
The woman was released by the fire service and taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston.
The extent of her injuries is unknown.
