A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash in Ipswich.
It happened at the junction of Palmerston Road and St Helen’s Street shortly before 3pm today and involved a Ford Focus and a Toyota Avensis.
Firefighters from Princes Street and Colchester Road in Ipswich attended after receiving reports that there were people trapped.
However when they arrived they were not needed.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said one woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries.
