The A12 southbound was closed earlier this morning following a crash between a digger and two cars which saw one vehicle mount the central reservation.
The southbound carriageway was closed from 8.30am-9.40am while the vehicle - a red Vauxhall Corsa - was removed from the central reservation. The car was partly protruding into the northbound carriageway.
A green MG was also involved.
A woman in her late teens was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment after reporting chest and neck pain. One ambulance crew and an ambulance officer were sent to the scene.
Suffolk police were called at 8.30am and diverted traffic.
