Chris Barker follows a route that straddles the Suffolk/Norfolk border

This walk is on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. It entails walking on heathland and greens.

Leave car park onto the road and turn right and quickly another right. After some distance turn left by a footpath sign on a track then after a while turn right by a small footpath sign. When faced by a large field turn left by a footpath sign keeping a hedge to your left. You will then come out onto a track, carry straight on with the Angles Way sign to your left. Leave the track when it swings left and carry straight on across a field by a footpath sign. Coming to a road turn left and take the next road turning on your right having Wortham Church to your left. After passing four large trees to your right turn right unsigned, walking on a track. Coming to the field boundary on your left turn left having a ditch to your right. Coming to a field boundary on your left carry on for a few paces and then turn left on a track. Coming to a footbridge on your left cross and turn right. You will then quickly come out onto a road, turn right. Coming to a footpath sign on your left turn left walking through trees. Emerging from the trees carry on in the same direction on a gravelled drive. When the drive ceases carry straight on, on a path on the left hand side of a green. The path will then become a gravelled drive, carry on in the same direction. You will then come to the Wortham Tea Shop to your left. Carry on in the same direction till you come to a road, carry straight on now walking on a pavement. Then turn left down Marsh Lane then immediately left by a footpath sign. When the driveway you are on ceases carry on having a fence to your right, soon crossing a footbridge then a stile and then turn right. Carry straight on across a field. When you come to the field boundary carry straight on into the next field first having a hedge to your left, cross this and then another three fields. At the fourth field carry on having a hedge to your left. Coming out onto a road junction, carry on in the same direction signposted Roydon. Coming to a footpath sign on your left, turn left on a gravel drive, go up a few steps onto a green path and then straight across a field. Once across carry straight on down a track. When the track swings to the right carry on for a few paces crossing a stile into a meadow, then immediately turn right walking in the meadow keeping the wood to your right. When the wood ceases carry on having a fence to your right. Coming to a kissing gate go through and carry on. Keep to this path until you come out onto a road and turn left. When you come to a road junction turn left and then right signposted Roydon, walk back to the car park.
