ONE person has been released from a car after it overturned in Westhorpe Road, Wyverstone.

Fire crews from Elmswell, Ixworth and a rescue pump from Stowmarket were called to reports of a car overturned in a ditch, with one person trapped, at 8.24am.

The motorist was released from the car just before 9am.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said nobody was injured in the incident.
