ESSEX X-Factor finalist Stacey Solomon will return to her home county to perform in a summer concert, it has been revealed.
The reality show runner-up has agreed to appear in the Concerts at the Castle in Colchester.
The bubbly star will sing in the Eurovision Pop Party on July 30 in Lower Castle Park.
Dagenham diva Stacey, who is a single mum to toddler son, Zach, came third in last year’s X Factor, losing out to winner Joe McElderry.
Nigel Claydon, communications director for Shining Lights Events which organises Concerts at the Castle, said :“We are working extremely hard to make an interesting and varied line up for this event and have brought some bigger names to Colchester.
“We’re very excited to that Stacey has agreed to perform at the pop party in Castle Park this summer”.
Other confirmed acts for the concerts include Bucks Fizz, Brotherhood of Man and Hot Chocolate.
