Young calf is rescued by fire crews after getting stuck in the mud on The Common, in Leiston

Three fire crews have rescued a young calf which got stuck in the mud on The Common, in Leiston.

They were called out yesterday at 5.15pm to the incident and firefighters from Leiston and two crews from Lowestoft South attended the scene.

A vet was also called in to deal with the animal and the incident was over by 6pm.
