FORMER Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry received a 4.295million pay-off when he left Anfield last summer according to the club’s accounts.
The huge sum was reportedly negotiated with ex-chairman David Moores when current owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, entered into the bidding to buy the club in 2007.
Parry collected 4.238million in emoluments - the total remuneration for salary and bonuses - and a further 57,000 in company pension contributions.
Parry left the Reds after a breakdown between himself and manager Rafael Benitez and Hicks last year.
