FELIXSTOWE & Walton United have lost their appeal to allow their floodlights at their Dellwood Avenue ground to stay up during the season.
The club appealed against Suffolk Coastal District Council's decision, and this was heard by a planning inspector appointed by the secretary of state.
He agreed with the council that the floodlights produced an “undesirable visual impact” and the club will continue to raise and lower them before and after every match and training session when they are used.
