TODAY'S FA Vase second round draw has thrown up a mixed bag for Ridgeons League sides.
Current Premier leaders Lowestoft, who like Needham Market and Stanway Rovers were exempt until this round, have been drawn at home to fellow Premier Division Tiptree United. This is one of potentially four all-Ridgeons clashes.
One of the League's remaining FA Cup survivors Leiston have been drawn at home to Debenham LC, a repeat of last season's first round clash that the Victory Road side won 3-0. Cornard United, conquerors of Wisbech on Saturday, must travel to Wivenhoe.
If Kirkley & Pakefield can overcome Yaxley in their replay this week they will face Dereham Town at Walmer Road.
Last season's semi finalists Needham Market welcome Northampton Spencer, currently mid table in the United Counties League while if Felixstowe & Walton United can defeat Holbeach United this week they will travel to face another side from the same United Couties League in the form of Raunds Town.
Mildenhall Town travel to Kent to take on VCD Athletic, a side that Needham Market defeated in their run last season, while Stanway Rovers travel to Biggleswade United. The remaining Ridgeons side FC Clacton entertain fellow Essex opponents in the shape of Essex Senior League side Basildon United.
The ties will take place on Saturday 15th November with a cheque for £1,200 up for grabs for the victors.
