Eight competitors from the school of Foundation Studies at West Suffolk College took part in the Nationwide Eastern Region Disability Athletics Championships in Cambridge.
Eight competitors from the school of Foundation Studies at West Suffolk College took part in the Nationwide Eastern Region Disability Athletics Championships in Cambridge.
Between them the group achieved a tremendous haul of 25 medals - 12 gold, nine silver and four bronze.
More than 250 competitors from schools, colleges and athletics clubs across the region competed at Cambridge University athletics track in Wilberforce Road.
Each competitor was limited to five events within their relevant age group and category.
Luke Wing from Thetford won the Athlete of the Championship award for this performance.
He was presented with a shield which he will keep for a year.
As well as three Bronze medals for the 60m, 100m, and 200m, Luke won two Gold medals for his performance in the long jump (5m 40cm) and high jump (1m 30cm).
These achievements mean that Luke has qualified for the national finals in Blackpool in July.

James Bird from Bury St Edmunds: Gold medals in the ball throw, 60m

Craig Le Carpentier from Bury St Edmunds: Gold medal in the ball throw
Patrick Parker from Sudbury: Silver in the ball throw, bronze in the 60m
Kim Frost from Ipswich: Gold medals in the long jump and 60m.
