IPSWICH Witches asset Jarek Hampel has not been given a wild card for the 2008 Grand Prix series - increasing his chances of being attracted back to ride at Foxhall Stadium next season.
The 25-year-old Pole is an Ipswich asset, but he has not ridden in the Elite League since 2003. He holds the Foxhall track record, set in September 2002.
Hampel missed four GPs this year because of injury, but has been overlooked for a wild card place. These have been given to Chris Harris (GB), Andreas Jonsson (Sweden), Krzysztof Kasprzak (Poland) and Fredrik Lindgren (Sweden).
