ON Sunday an injury ravaged Colchester travelled to Watford to take on relegation threatened West Herts.
The game was mainly unforgettable with both sides finding little rhythm. Colchester went behind early on but equalised through Tom Philp just before half time.
Despite having at least ten short corners the Essex side could not force a winner and conceded a sloppy goal with 15 minutes remaining to condemn them to the a third consecutive defeat.
Colchester finish their season this Saturday when they travel to mid-table Wisbech Town.
