DARREN Currie is counting on his Blues team-mates to help him achieve his Premiership dream, writes Derek Davis.
Speaking after the goal-less draw at Gillingham, Currie admitted the nerves may be getting to Ipswich as the countdown to promotion continues.
Currie said: "I have waited years to play in the Premiership and I would not want us to blow it now that we are so close.
"Perhaps people are getting a bit edgy as the games get fewer but we are still in with a great chance and it is up to us all to take it."
The £250,000 signing from Brighton, who Town play on the last day of the season, appreciates that every game left to play will be tough, starting with George Burley's Derby on April 2.
He said: "The way it is with the play-offs and with teams battling for relegation there are no teams that don't have something to play for. You saw that with Cardiff and Gillingham who are scrapping for survival, so that means every time we go out teams will not want to give anything away against us."
Currie, who scored on his debut against QPR in December, has netted three goals in his 17 Town appearances.
