MORE than 500 half-season tickets have been snapped up by Town fans eager to watch the promotion run-in at Portman Road this season.
The offer covers the final 11 league games of the campaign, as well as allowing season-ticket holders to book their place at any FA Cup home matches, with the draw for the third round taking place tomorrow.
Town's Ticket Office Manager John Ford said: “Obviously, the savings have appealed to fans and there has also been a Christmas element.
“I think many people have bought tickets as Christmas presents for friends or relatives who may be regulars at Portman Road but don't have a season ticket.
“Looking at the games to come over the second half of the season as well, we have the likes of West Ham, Sunderland, Leicester and Derby, so there are some big matches there.”
