IPSWICH Town received good and bad news on the injury front yesterday.
The good news is that following a scan on his hamstring Alan Mahon should be ready to return to action when Town face Sheffield United at home on Saturday, November 22.
The bad news is that centre back Drissa Diallo will undergo an operation on his injured knee on Monday and will be out of action until the Christmas period.
