Colchester United boss, John McGreal, is looking forward, not back.
The U’s produced one of their poorest displays of the season last weekend, losing 1-0 at out-of-sorts Crewe, but McGreal believes that this was just a blip.
His side entertain another of the League Two strugglers tomorrow afternoon, in the shape of basement dwellers Barnet.
“We can’t be too disheartened by that performance at Crewe,” insisted McGreal.
“In fact, I would struggle to think of another performance as bad as that. We have got to move forward.

“We have still got 12 games to go, so there is no point in castigating the players, otherwise you risk alienating or losing them.”
The U’s are five points adrift of the top seven, going into their last dozen matches.
By contrast, Barnet, managed by Graham Westley, face a big challenge ahead to try and retain their Football League status. They are six points adrift of safety.
