Coach Noel Lambert’s Under-18 Boys produced a dominant display on Sunday to secure a 101-49 win on the road at Cambridge, behind 33 points from Ethan Price and 22 by Blake Read.
Coach Lambert praised the “confident play from all ten players” following a convincing victory.
Price also had 23 points for the Under-16s on Saturday, as Adam Robinson’s team put a run of disappointing results behind them to beat Solent Kestrels 70-49 at Copleston. Coach Robinson praised the team’s defence as making the difference.
There was also success for the Under-14 Girls, who dispatched county rivals County Upper Wolves 81-51. A 20-point half-time lead proved a solid base from which to control the second half. Alicia Boddy finished with 21 points, and Makenna Williams had 20.
Elsewhere, a depleted Under-16 Girls suffered a 75-60 loss at Sevenoaks, while the Under-14 Boys fell away late in a 76-39 reversal at Oaklands Wolves.
