Playing for more than hour with ten men, following a straight red card for ‘goalkeeper Danny Crump, and having already lost Joe Francis through injury, the home side dug deep to score three times in the second half while protecting stand in keeper Miles Powell at the other end.

Nick Ingram opened the scoring in the 53rd minute with a low drive from the edge of the area after a neat interchange with Stuart Boardley, and two minutes later Stuart Ainsley doubled the score from Bennett’s cross.

Ainsley added the third from the penalty spot with nine minutes left to complete the scoring after Heron had upended Bennett in the box.
