Former Diss Town coach Paul Denness insists there are no hard feelings after he left the club, along with manager Paul Bugg and first-team coach Stuart Reavell.
The trio lasted just 42 days in charge of the Thurlow Nunn Division One side, leaving after a disagreement with the committee over the direction the club was heading. They were also frustrated at the number of last season’s squad that had left or were leaving.
“This was my first job as a (goalkeeping) coach and I was learning the ropes as an assistant manager too, so it’s a shame how it ended,” he said.
“I want to get back in the game eventually and hopefully I can persuade Paul (Bugg) to come with me for the ride, even though he has said he is finished in football.
“I want to be managing in the Conference, but I have only just started.”
He added: “I wish Diss all the best for the future. There are no hard feelings and I would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity.”
