Felixstowe & Walton United face a massive task if they are to catch leaders Mildenhall Town.
The west Suffolk side’s midweek win at Gorleston cemented their position at the top of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division and the Seasiders would have to rely on them losing at least two of their final four games which, on current form, looks unlikely.
Felixstowe manager Kevin O’Donnell will be urging his side to keep winning and tomorrow they host a Godmanchester side that have recovered from a poor start to the season after finishing runners-up last term. They look a different proposition to the side that were swept aside 3-0 in the reverse fixture in September.
While their results have been erratic, they’ve won their last two games, virtually ending Gorleston’s title hopes last week with a 2-1 win.
The Seasiders will be hoping for another bumper crowd as they chase a third straight home win.
