Ipswich Town Ladies will face Lowestoft Town Ladies in the Suffolk FA Women’s Cup Final, sponsored by HomeStore Self Storage.
The final between the county’s two top-ranked teams will be a repeat of the 2012-13 final when Ipswich won 6-1.
Lowestoft, who like Ipswich play in the FA Women’s Premier League South East Division One, beat Bacton Women 4-0 in their semi-final at Woodbridge Town FC. Hannah Waters scored twice while Charnelle Riggall and Broghan Scully were also on target as Lowestoft eased past their opponents who play three leagues lower in the Suffolk Girls’ & Women’s League.
Ipswich did not have things all their own way before running out 2-0 winners. The holders reached their sixth final in the last seven seasons courtesy of a goal in each half from Hollie Clement and Roxanne Small.
