Recent Ipswich Town loanee Ben Pringle has signed for Championship rivals Preston North End for an undisclosed fee from Fulham.
The left-footed midfielder spent the final three months of last season with the Blues, making nine starts, one substitute appearance and scoring two goals.
He still had a year left on his Craven Cottage contract, with Blues boss Mick McCarthy having said he wouldn’t be looking to recruit the 27-year-old on a permanent basis.
