Culford Senior School pupil Lucy Holder has been selected for the England under-16 squad.
Holder will be competing in training camps held at the English Institute of Sport at Lilleshall and Bisham Abbey training grounds, and will play competitive matches against other nations.
Holder will play against Germany, Holland, and Spain in the Four-Nations which will be held in August.
Culford’s Head of Hockey, Matt Copping, said: “It’s a fantastic achievement to be selected for the final 22 players in the squad and a reflection of all the hard work and dedication to training that Lucy has put in over the past year or so. We will all be watching and cheering her along!”
