RONAN Murray has paid tribute to the facilities at AFC Sudbury – hailing them as one of the best he has seen in the lower leagues.
The young Ipswich Town striker scored twice at the Kings Marsh Stadium last night as a second-string Blues side beat Sudbury 6-1.
Teenager midfield Byron Lawrence also bagged a brace along with Nathan Elliington and Mark Timlin, Lee Boylan equalising for the Ryman League Division One North side.
After the match, Murray tweeted: “Nice run out tonight lads gettin the match fitness back !lovely pitch and facilities Sudbury got! 1 the best I’ve seen in the lower leagues!”
