Colchester United have announced their season ticket prices for the 2012-13 season, and for the second successive campaign the League One club have decided to freeze their prices.
Tim Waddington, the U’s general manager, confirmed: “We will be freezing prices again for the second successive season. Times are tough for many of our supporters, and we know that things are getting more expensive.
“Although our own costs are going up, we also recognise that fans are finding money tight too, and it’s the right thing for us to do. By freezing prices, it means that many prices will still be cheaper than they were at Layer Road.”
There will be a 5% renewal discount for existing season ticket holders, with an in-house direct debit plan to spread the cost, while the Family Pricing options will be extended throughout the JobServe Stand.
Furthermore, the match grading will be dropped to simplify the pricing for the casual fan, and also to increase season ticket savings.
