SUFFOLK golfer Jamie Moul enjoyed a superb second round at the Avantha Masters in New Delhi, India to finish tied for thirteenth place ahead of the final two rounds this weekend.
Moul, who plays out of Stoke-by-Nayland and is trained by Ipswich Golf Club’s Kevin Lovelock, carded a four under par 68 after a steady one under 71 in his first round on Thursday to comfortably make the cut.
It leaves him five shots off leader Peter Whiteford and tied with Paul McGinley, among others, in the European Tour event.
The Avantha Masters boasts the biggest prize pot of all events in Asia, with 1.8 million euros to be split among the field.
