ESSEX wicket-keeper Ben Foakes was named man-of-the-match after he scored a century to lead England to victory in the Third Youth one-day international against Bangladesh today.
Foakes, who will be 19 next month, scored 111 off 118 balls as England won the 50-over match by three wickets with six balls to spare at the Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Bangladesh totalled 252 for nine in their innings, with Foakes taking a catch and making a stumping before his match-winning century which included 14 fours and one six guided England to 253 for seven in reply.
Bangladesh now lead the seven-match series 2-1.
