LEISTON are on their travels tomorrow down the A12 against fellow play-off rivals Waltham Forest who ground share with Ilford, in the Ryman League Division One North.

Forest went down 1-0 in midweek despite a spirited performance at Heybridge while Leiston had a fine win over Billericay Town in the League Cup. The Suffolk side welcome back Gareth Heath and Nathan Stone to the squad following injury but are without the injured Stuart Boardley and the suspended Michael Brothers who sits out a one game ban for five bookings. Leiston squad from: Johnson, Driver, Saker, Wardley, Goldfinch, Head, Jefford, Hammond, Calver, P Brothers, Heath, Henry, Norfolk, Ottley-Gooch, Smy and Stone.

MEANWHILE Ryman Premier leaders Lowestoft Town and eighth placed Bury Town are both in home action tomorrow.

Lowestoft face fifth placed Cray Wanderers while Bury welcome FA Cup heroes yet lowly East Thurrock United. All four Ryman Division One North sides in League action are on their travels. Leaders Needham Market travel down the M11 to fourteenth placed Waltham Abbey. AFC Sudbury are at second bottom Ware while Heybridge Swifts go to ninth placed Harlow Town. Maldon & Tiptree, who parted company with their management duo in midweek, are at home to Romford in the Third Round of the Alan Boon (Ryman) League Cup.

FIVE Suffolk sides will be in Monday’s Fourth Round draw of the Alan Boon (Ryman) League Cup. AFC Sudbury, Bury Town, Leiston and Needham Market are definitely through to the last sixteen while Lowestoft Town face a trip to the winners of the Maldon & Tiptree v Romford tie next week to see if they can book their spot. Clubs have an added incentive this season as the League and its sponsors have included prize money from the Quarter Final stage onwards. Fourth Round ties are scheduled to take place week commencing Monday 5th December.
