TEN sides from the Ridgeons League including four from Suffolk were in today’s FA Vase Second Round draw at Wembley Stadium and there were two all-Ridgeons clashes.
Last season’s finalists Wroxham face Wisbech Town at Trafford Park while Stanway Rovers travel to Godmanchester Rovers.
Of the Suffolk sides, Kirkley & Pakefield face a difficult home tie against United Counties League Long Buckby while Leiston face a stiff test on their travels at Royston Town of the Molten Spartan South Midlands League. Walsham-le-Willows make the short trip to Essex Senior League Witham Town while giant-killers Whitton United travel to Stotfold also of the Molten Sparten South Midlands League.
The remaining ties featuring Ridgeons clubs sees CRC at Dunstable Town and Gorleston in an all-Norfolk derby at Kings Lynn Town. Holders Whitley Bay are away at Thackley.
Ties are to be played Saturday, November 13.
