FORMER Suffolk schoolboy Josh Davey is in line to make his debut for Scotland in a one-day international match.
Davey, who last season was playing for Bury St Edmunds in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League, is included in the squad for the match against The Netherlands in Rotterdam next Tuesday.
The 19-year-old, who is now with Middlesex, was born in Aberdeen but attended Culford School after his family moved to Suffolk.
Peter Steindl, Scotland’s head coach, said: “Josh is a young cricketer who has been making excellent strides forward this year. He has scored a lot of runs in the Middlesex second team and had a few first-team opportunities. He will be a great addition to the squad.”
