THE draw for the Third Round qualifying of the FA Trophy has thrown up a mixed bag for the two remaining Essex clubs. Chelmsford City have been given a favourable home draw as they face Whyteleafe or AFC Hornchurch who drew 1-1 on Saturday. Whyteleafe are currently struggling near the foot of the Ryman Division One South while Hornchurch are around mid table in a Division higher, the Ryman Premier.
Chelmsford's neighbours Braintree Town couldn't have asked for a more difficult draw as they travel to Wales to face fellow Blue Square South side Newport County who are currently top of the table.
Ties to be played Saturday, November 21 with 4,000 for the winners.
