Ipswich Town reserves are being lined up to play Clacton Town and Debenham during pre-season.
A Town XI are pencilled in to play at Debenham's Maitlands' ground on Monday, July 27.
The Hornets have had verbal agreement from the Championship club but are waiting for written confirmation.
The Blues game at Clacton on Thursday July 23 (kick off 7.45pm) is part of the Seasiders' skipper Paul Hillier's testimonial.
Hillier made his debut for the Seasiders in August 1998 and has gone on to make over 400 appearances for the club. He has spent a total of nine seasons with the club interrupted by a short two-season spell at Wivenhoe Town in 2005/06 and 2006/07.
Tickets which will soon be available will be priced at �5 for Adults and �3 for OAP's and Under 16's.
