CLIVE Platt will again be unavailable for the U's trip to bottom club Hereford United on Saturday.

The U's striker missed the 1-0 home defeat by Brighton on Easter Monday, due to family issues, and that will be the case again this weekend.

Fellow striker Ashley Vincent therefore looks set to start up front again at Edgar Street, not least because club record signing Steven Gillespie is still out with an ankle injury.

Defender Paul Reid and midfielder Johnnie Jackson are both sidelined for the season, while David Perkins is also set to miss the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.

Furthermore, striker Karl Hawley has played his last game for the U's. His loan deal from Preston expires this weekend, and the 27-year-old is currently injured.
