Colchester match called off

COLCHESTER United's scheduled home match against Stockport County tomorrow has been called off following a lunchtime pitch inspection.

There is a considerable amount of standing water on the pitch at the Community Stadium, and with the weather forecast also looking very grim, it was decided to postpone the match before the Stockport squad began their journey down to Essex.
