METALTEC SIL Senior Division championship contenders Crane Sports are to make use of the demise of the Whitton United first team.
Crane play their home games on the pitch adjacent to Whitton's at King George V Playing Field, Norwich Road, Ipswich.
And they plan to move across and play under floodlights to clear a small backlog of fixtures caused by success in cup competitions.
Crane have arranged to play two home evening games at Whitton - against Westerfield United on Wednesday, February 11 and Stonham Aspal on Wednesday, March 11.
And they will be playing a third match under lights when they travel to Framlingham Town on Tuesday, March 28.
Crane almost lost their unbeaten record when they came back from being 3-0 down with 10 minutes left to second-placed Woodbridge Athletic on Saturday.
They pulled back to 3-3, which maintained their proud record of being unbeaten in all competitions this season ahead of a key match against leaders and defending champions Grundisburgh this weekend.
