Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has revealed that Greg Leigh and Panutche Camara have suffered injury set-backs.

Left-back Leigh, who fractured his leg in late September, returned to action in Tuesday night's 2-0 home defeat to Portsmouth in the Papa John's Trophy, playing 62 minutes.

Midfielder Camara, who underwent groin surgery after signing from Plymouth on transfer deadline day, played 75 minutes in that game, having previously had cameos against Cambridge United, Bracknell and Cheltenham.

Asked why neither were in the squad for tonight's 4-0 win against Buxton in the FA Cup second round, McKenna said: "Greg has an issue with his knee close to the site of his last injury. He came through 60 minutes (against Portsmouth on Tuesday night), but in training he felt an issue as he was moving to receive a ball.

"He has a scan tomorrow and we'll see how he is.

"Panutche had issues and has issues with his groin area from the injury that he had while he was at Plymouth. That's why we've had to be patient with him. He got through 70 minutes the other night but he still didn't feel right during or ater the game so that needs to be reviewed."

Wes Burns received treatment in the second half of tonight's game, but carried on before being replaced just before the hour.

"He's fine," said McKenna. "He just got a little kick on his ankle, so we just wanted to get him off."
