Ipswich Town Women's star striker Natasha Thomas says she wants to help 'inspire a generation' of young girls.
With today being International Women's Day, Ross Halls sat down with the Tractor Girls' record goalscorer to discuss a range of topics.
Lowestoft's Thomas, 27, spoke about her journey in football and the huge growth we've seen in the women's game over recent years.
"I want to be able to inspire the next generation," she said. "I want to be able to leave my name when I can't play anymore.
"That's a big part of why I wanted to play football."
She added: "There's still a long way to go, but the changes that have happened and are still happening in the women's game are massive."
Town's captain, Blue Wilson, made her long-awaited return from injury in Sunday's 3-0 win against Plymouth.
Joe Sheehan's side, currently second in the third-tier table, host the London Bees in Felixstowe on Sunday (2pm).
