Town are looking for a tenth win in a row as the league title goes down to the wire, with leaders Watford beating Oxford 2-1 at home on Thursday night.

The Hornets have only one match left to play, while the Blues and Oxford have two games remaining, including their final day showdown at the AGL Arena, Felixstowe on Sunday 7th May.

Today's visitors, Cheltenham, are eighth in the table, and have won just once in their last 10 games, but manged to beat Oxford at home in February.

The two sides last met in December as Town concluded their 2022 schedule with a hard-fought 2-0 away win, thanks to goals from Maria Boswell and Anna Grey.

Goalkeeper Sarah Quantrill, speaking ahead of the game said: "They've got nothing to lose, so they're (Cheltenham) going to come here and spoil our party.

"There is no weak team in this league, anybody can beat anyone on their day, so we need to be at it to make sure we do get the three points.'

She continued: "We need to finish on a high, last season we fell away at the end, so we need to make sure to finish strong this season and that gives us the perfect chance to hopefully finish top spot."

Kick-off is at 2pm, tickets can be purchased on the gate, costing £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for U16s.
