Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony believes Ipswich Town 'could be a top-two challenger' in the Championship next season.
The Blues won 13 of their last 15 games to secure second spot in League One with an impressive 98 points and 101 goals.
Kieran McKenna's men are already among the bookies' favourites for promotion in 2022/23, with only Southampton and Middlesbrough currently shorter odds.
Asked on his 'Hard Truth' podcast how he thought Ipswich would do on their return to the second-tier, MacAnthony - who saw his own side blow a 4-0 first leg lead against Sheffield Wednesday in the League One play-off semi-finals - said: "I think Ipswich will be a force, like a proper force to be reckoned with.
"Good ownership, good structure, good manager. I think they have got a bit of business to do, for sure. But everything is in place for them to be very, very top-tier.
"If Sunderland can make the play-offs, and Luton and Coventry can make the Play-Off Final, I think Ipswich could be a top-two challenger.
"Will it be in year one? I don't know. If they recruit well then maybe.
"I always talk about big clubs rebuilding and coming back strong. They are set to go."
