Ipswich Town Women have made their third summer signing as midfielder Ruby Doe signs on a dual-registration agreement from Arsenal.
The 17-year-old joins the Blues for the 2023/24 season, following in the footsteps of Gunners' teammate Freya Godfrey, who enjoyed a successful temporary spell with the Tractor Girls last season.
The midfielder has starred for Arsenal's Academy in recent years, netting 14 goals in 22 WSL Academy League appearances.
Doe spent time with Watford towards the end of the last campaign but didn't feature for the Golden Girls as they went on to beat the Tractor Girls to the league title on goal difference.
The East-Londoner has represented England from U14 level up to her current involvement with the U19s.
She recently featured in the pre-season defeat to Crystal Palace and could make her official debut for the club as Joe Sheehan's side begin their FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division season against Cardiff City at Ocean Park Arena on Sunday.
Doe will wear the number 18 shirt for Town and will remain eligible to feature for Arsenal during her time with the Blues.
In other news, Town trio Eloise King, Lucy O'Brien and Blue Wilson are set to miss the start of the 2023/24 season as they work their way back from injuries suffered in the summer.
Skipper Wilson returned from almost two years out with an ACL injury in March, but is set to undergo minor surgery to repair an ongoing meniscus issue on her other knee.
Town are also awaiting news on fellow midfielder Eloise King, who has undergone tests to determine the severity of an undisclosed back injury that the 21-year-old has been dealing with over the summer.
Attacking-midfielder Lucy O'Brien is edging closer to a return to full fitness following a hamstring injury, but won't be fit in time for this weekend.
