Ipswich Town Women have completed the signing of attacker Lenna Gunning-Williams on a season-long loan from WSL side Tottenham Hotspur.

The 18-year-old becomes the fifth summer signing for the Tractor Girls, with Joe Sheehan's side understood to have fought off multiple Barclays Women's Championship clubs to secure the forward's signature.

Gunning-Williams joined Spurs at U16 level and progressed through their WSL Academy setup, where she has scored 38 goals in 39 games for their U21s side.

She made her senior debut last season, where she came off the bench and scored in a 5-1 win against Coventry United in the League Cup, before making her first Barclays Women’s Super League appearance as a second half substitute against Man City in March.

The attacker signed her first professional contract with the North London side last month.

Away from football, she was once a successful children's TV actor, starring as 'Jack' in the hit CBBC show Jamie Johnson.

She will wear the number 19 shirt for Town and is set to make her Town debut this Sunday as the Blues host Plymouth Argyle at the AGL Arena in Felixstowe.
