Ipswich Town midfielder Sam Morsy is among the nominees for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award, but manager Kieran McKenna has missed out in the manager's category.
The Blues won three of their four league games in August, beating Sunderland (2-1 away), QPR (1-0 away) and Stoke (2-0) before losing 4-3 at home to a power-packed Leeds side that have just dropped down from the Premier League.
It's one of the best-ever starts made to a Championship season by a newly-promoted club, but McKenna has not been included in the four-man Manager of the Month shortlist.

Enzo Maresca (Leicester City), John Eustace (Birmingham), Ryan Lowe (Preston) and David Wagner (Norwich) will be the bosses up for consideration when a judging panel of former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies sit down to make their decision.
All four of those teams, in fairness, were unbeaten in August.
Morsy, whose fine form has earned him a recall to the Egypt squad, faces competition from Norwich midfielder Gabriel Sara, Hull striker Ozan Tufan and Stoke winger Andre Vidigal.
Winners will be announced tomorrow morning.
